How to Join Parkview Baptist Church

We are so excited about your interest in membership at Parkview Baptist Church! A person may join by making an appointment with one of our pastors or you may go to one of the pastors standing in the front at the end of a Sunday service and express your desire to join. You will be introduced to one of our Decision Counselors who will then answer your questions and guide you through this process.  If you are simply interested in finding out more about Parkview, you can attend one of our membership classes called “Discovering Parkview”. Contact us for a schedule.  There is no obligation, but it will help you have a better understanding of who we are and how we function.

New members are received in one of the following ways:

Profession of Faith

If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior and are willing to be baptized by immersion, following Jesus’ example, we will welcome you as a member upon your Baptism.

Transfer of Letter

If you have already accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, have been baptized by immersion, and are presently a member of a Baptist Church of like faith and practice, we will welcome you into our church family by letter.

Statement of Faith

If you come from another denomination or your letter in a Baptist church is no longer available, we will welcome you by statement. Those coming by statement must meet the following conditions: You have received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you have been baptized by immersion, and you believe your Baptism is a testimony of your salvation.
