From this part of our website, you can view prayer requests, submit your own request, respond to a request and subscribe to be emailed when a new request is posted. This prayer ministry is meant to be both a forum for Parkview to become a “house of prayer” as well as an encouragement to those who have prayer need.

Though each request goes through a moderation process, Parkview Baptist Church nor its staff or members are responsible for the content of these posts.

Diane Sullivan called me this a. m. and asked to put Vanessa on prayer list. She has had to go back to hospital and has a fever of 102. She had two surgeries last week ( Tonsils and adenoids taken out on Thursday and eye surgery again on Friday. She is only two years old. Please pray for the family as they care for her and two other children .
Prayer Request from Elizabeth Scheller: Vanessa Roach – 2 years old (member Diane Sullivan’s grand-daughter) – SCID (Severe Combined Immunodeficiency) Surgery yesterday to install central line in preparation for bone marrow transplant next month was successful. She also had tubes put in ears and procedure on eye to relieve pressure. This morning, the pressure in her eye has increased instead of decreased. The pressure is at 60 (normal is 20-30’s) -- They may need to do emergency surgery on her eye today. (She has already lost sight in the other eye…..may lose sight in this eye as well). Diane said Nessa thrashes about in her bed from the pain. Diane is quite upset. Please pray for this family: Nessa, Diane and Nessa’s parents, Brittney & Charlie. Prayer request from Cindy Murray—for her Aunt Olivia Bradley. She will have a cystoscopy, tomorrow (Aug. 26) to help determine the cause of some health issues. Please continue to pray.

Jean Lawrence asked us to pray for her daughter Sharon. The infection antibiotics have not worked; so the Doctors are removing her port. Also her granddaughter Rachel, has bronchitis. The Doctors are concerned that she may get pneumonia.
Craig and Carol Cannon have lost their uncle, Lon Russell. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at Live Oak Grove Christian Church in Beaufort. Please pray for the Cannons.
Prayer Request from Carolyn Godwin: My son-in-law Robert is in the hospital at the New Bern Hospital. He is very ill, and the Doctors have not determined the cause of his sickness. Please pray for my daughter, Lark, as she has had difficulty looking after him at home. Thank you.
Bruce Murray has been released from Carteret General Hospital, this morning, and has gone home. Please continue to pray for Bruce and Cindy.

“Friends in Christ”, Bruce Murray entered Carteret General Hospital last night (Tuesday, July 28) with severe chest pains. Even as I write this-- the Doctor is giving Bruce many diagnostic tests. Please continue to be in prayer for Bruce & Cindy. Room 343--He is able to receive visitors.

Good News-- Milford Simmons is back home!
The Doctors discharged Milford from the Hospital this afternoon. (July 14, 2015) He will follow up with his primary Doctor.
Milford and Regenia thanks everyone for your prayers and concern. The LORD’s Church has many mighty men and women of prayer.
