Welcome to MyPrayerNOW, our online prayer ministry. From this part of our website, you can view prayer requests, submit your own request, respond to a request and subscribe to be emailed when a new request is posted. This prayer ministry is meant to be both a forum for Parkview to become a “house of prayer” as well as an encouragement to those who have prayer need.
Please note that if you intend to list a request, you will be required to check a box that you have permission from all parties listed in the request to name them. Though each request goes through a moderation process, Parkview Baptist Church nor its staff or members are responsible for the content of these posts.
The following are prayer requests from Jim & Debbie Spruill:
Our daughter, Angela, is going to college and is majoring in Equine Technologies. There is always a risk of injury when dealing with horses, so we would like you to pray for her safety during her classes this year and next year. Also pray that she does well in her studies and stays motivated to do the best she can. Please pray that when she graduates, she is able to find a good job where she will be able to use the knowledge that she has learned and enjoys so much. Jim has been having problems with his pancreas, so please pray that this problem will correct itself and he will have good health so he can be with and enjoy his family for many years to come. Debbie has had problems with her right knee. It has worn completely out and she needs a total knee replacement. She was scheduled for knee surgery on the 24th of February, but had to cancel that surgery. She has been diagnosed with endometrial cancer, also called uterine cancer. This needs to be taken care of before the knee. She has an appointment to see the surgeon on the 25th of February. Please pray that all these problems will be taken care of and that she is able to stay strong and able to handle all that is to take place in the coming months. Also please pray for the surgeon, that God will guide her and give her the knowledge to take care of this situation.
